AMFA & SYLLABUS

As an affiliate of the Alberta Music Festivals' Association, we adhere strictly to the Syllabus produced by that organization.  In addition to the classes offered in that document, we have also added local classes to meet the needs of our area. Keep scrolling for a list of our own local classes!

The AMFA Syllabus and accompanying Musical Theatre list is available at www.albertamusicfestival.org and is the best way to find specifics on rules for classes.

Local Addenda to the Syllabus

Our festival has added classes in addition to the AMFA Syllabus.  Some of these classes are eligible for consideration to participate in the Provincial Festival, others are not.

Entrants in these classes must not be eligible for entry in Piano Solo - Own Choice classes in the AMFA Syllabus.
